FAKE – La fabbrica delle notize is the first journalistic program in the Italian TV landscape created to unmask hoaxes, to give some interpretation tools and reveal who and what is behind the great disinformation machine, continuously churning out “news” in an endless cycle. A young and prepared journalist in the person of Valentina Petrini, an editorial staff consisting of hardened reporters, a debunker (David Puente) and a digital reputation expert (Matteo Flora), studio guests which are outsiders to any classic talk-show logics. Every week, the hottest news conveyed by traditional media and social networks will be subjected to rigorous fact checking and analyzed from the point of view of two undisputed cornerstones of the news world (and not only), while our experts will help us into understanding the development and “viralization” dynamics of the biggest hoaxes out there.
